Approach & Process
We live in a multi-connected and complex world. I believe that to understand and address systemic challenges it is necessary to collaborate with different disciplines.
I use a variety of Human-Centered Design, Systems Thinking, and Strategy approaches as service design, user-centered design, and participatory design.
Specialization
Design Research
I design research plans with the selection of methods that best serve the purpose of the project. I design methods that reveal information that traditional methods wouldn’t. I incorporate a critical and ethical lens, while using a systems thinking, collaborative and participatory approach.
Project Management
I integrate management skills to make sure projects can move forward at every stage. I maintain a rigorous but flexible process that considers the complex and changing nature of systems. I constantly revise the plan and update it according to insights gained, always maintaining the goal of the project in mind.
Facilitation and Collaboration
I help teams to work collaboratively, make decisions, and keep projects on track. To achieve that I integrate a variety of design frameworks and tools, create safe spaces, and use my role as facilitator to empower everyone in the decision-making process.
Design Strategy
I develop strategies informed by insights gained through research, always considering context and human experience. As a problem solver besides looking for the best way to solve problems, I design innovative ways to address them.
Visual Design
I use visual design to ensure information is accessible, relevant, and meaningful for the target audience. I use tools such as data visualization, journey maps, and diagrams to facilitate decision-making and prompt action.
